A third accuser has emerged with claims that Kevin Clash, the puppeteer of "Sesame Street" character "Elmo," engaged in sexual activity with a minor.
In a lawsuit filed last week, an anonymous man claims that Clash lured him to his residence for sex when he was just 16 years old, according to The New York Daily News.
The lawsuit claims Clash plied the young man, now 29, with alcohol during his first visit to his New York apartment.
The man also claims that Clash called him repeatedly after the encounter to arrange another meeting.
Clash's lawyer dismissed the suit as having "no merit."
The longtime puppeteer resigned from "Sesame Street" last week after a second accuser came forward with allegations of underage sexual abuse.
The first accuser, who came forward earlier this month, recanted his claim and said he and Clash engaged in a consensual relationship between two adults.
