The White House announced on Monday that it would be releasing a "special message from the president."
But instead of an important policy announcement, the White House joined in on the April Fools' Day fun with a much younger "president" taking the place of President Barack Obama.
"It looks like you were expecting somebody else, but April Fools on all of y'all," the "president" quipped. "I'm kid president and I hope everyone has an awesome day."
