A gunman was shot and taken into custody after wounding at least four people in and around a North Carolina Walmart on Friday.
WNCT reported that Greenville Police Chief Hassan Aden announced at around 1:15 p.m. that police had exchanged gunfire with the shooter before taking him into custody.
Earlier in the day, witness had told the station that a man with a rifle and a bulletproof vest had shot an insurance adjuster at Kellum Law Firm. Additional shootings were later reported at a nearby Walmart.
