During a recent interview with anti-feminist leader Phyllis Schlafly, host of a right-wing online talk show exclaimed that he thinks President Barack Obama is "a wussy guy" who was "involved with homosexuality" and would probably wear "drag" if he thought he could get away with it.
"Barack Obama, and I don't want to put any words in your mouth but I'll say it out of mine -- Barack Obama is a wussy guy who throws a ball like a girl, who everybody knows he was involved with homosexuality," he says in an excerpt of last week's show published Monday by Right Wing Watch. "And I think he is the stereotypical -- if he could get away with it, he'd be in drag. I don't think he's a man at all, and he leads a whole group of 'men' that are that way."
Schlafly, who leads the decades-old "pro-family" group Eagle Forum, seemed unmoved by the comments, telling talk show host Stan Solomon that it's clear the president is "catering to the gay political agenda."
She added that the failure of same sex marriage legislation in Illinois was "a tremendous defeat for the gays," saying that she hopes the Supreme Court realizes marriage equality is "not the writing on the wall."
