Newly hired Fox News contributor Dr. Ben Carson believes that the Affordable Care Act -- known as Obamacare -- is the worst thing since slavery.
"I have to tell you Obamacare is, really I think, the worst thing that's happened in this nation since slavery," Carson said Friday at the Values Voter Summit.
Obamacare was sort of like slavery, he continued, because "it is making all of us subservient to the government."
"And it was never about healthcare, it was about control," Carson continued.
The conservative neurosurgeon then cited Vladimir Lenin to show that Obamacare was leading the United States into communism.
