    The Buffalo shooter wrote racist screeds online before targeting and killing people in a majority-Black neighborhood. We look at the incident’s similarities to other white supremacist killings, particularly the deadly 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Amy Spitalnick is the executive director of Integrity First for America, a nonprofit organization that successfully sued the white supremacist organizers of Unite the Right. Spitalnick says tactics such as live-streaming are characteristic of previous acts of white supremacist terrorism, and calls for systemic change and preventative measures amid a clear pattern of violence. “This is precisely part of a cycle of white supremacist violence in which each attack inspires the next one,” says Spitalnick.

    Trump-backing Michigan lawmaker 'entangled in a probe into unauthorized access to voting tabulators': report

    On Friday, The Detroit News reported that Daire Rendon, a pro-Trump Michigan state representative, has been caught up in an investigation into illegal access to voting equipment.

    "The Michigan State Police and Attorney General Dana Nessel's office have been investigating voting machine access in multiple counties in the battleground state for months. Their work started in Roscommon County, an area represented by Rendon, a Republican from Lake City," said the report.

    New Eastman revelations 'directly tie Donald Trump to an arguable fraud': legal expert

    Reacting to a report from Politico that so-called "coup memo" attorney John Eastman reportedly has handwritten notes from former president Donald Trump on strategies for overturning the 2020 presidential election, CNN's Elie Hoenig suggested they could be the smoking gun to charge trump with fraud or worse.

    On Friday, Politico reported Eastman is battling with the courts over more documents by claiming attorney-client privilege that reportedly show Trump took a direct role in efforts to derail the certification of the election that he lost to President Joe Biden.
