Embattled New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) once again faced a crowd of angry hecklers at a town hall on Tuesday, but blamed "public sector unions" for the outburst.
"Governor Christie, we are here to demand, you stop your corrupt uses, of Hurricane Sandy money!" the group shouted during an event in South River. "There are still families without homes who have received no aid."
As police forced the demonstrators to leave the room, Christie called himself a "soothsayer" for having predicted that he would be heckled, according to NJ.com.
"Congratulations, everybody," the governor quipped. "You are now seeing the latest gift given to you by the public sector unions in the state of New Jersey. This is what they do."
"They do it because they have no other choice," he added.
