In a call that aired on C-Span's live call-in show The Washington Journal on Thursday, a Republican named "Anthony" from San Diego let his real feelings be known about President Barack Obama during a rant aimed at the newly elected Republican majority in Washington.

"I would just like to say to the Republicans -- and I'm a Republican," Anthony said, "please do not overreach. If you advocate for the repeal of Obamacare and you get too extreme, then Hillary Clinton will be elected president in 2016."

"This is about race," he went on. "The Republicans hate that ni**er Obama..."

At which point, producers disconnected the call and host Steve Scully said, "Okay, I'm going to stop you there. We're not going to use that kind of language."
