NEWARK — Sarah Palin agreed in December to pay a New Jersey newspaper $15,000 to settle a lawsuit over her campaign's unauthorized use of an iconic photograph of firefighters hoisting the American flag on 9/11 -- but the deal remains stalled over the former GOP vice presidential candidate's insistence on confidentiality, according to court papers filed…
Former President Donald Trump's Fox News interview was a nice reminder of the same old things that he has promoted for years and that he's also been ridiculed for saying out loud.
Speaking to Fox News' Sean Hannity, the ex-president grumbled about no one reporting on the news that he was vindicated over hydroxychloroquine being a miracle COVID drug, which it is not.
But it was the claim that windmills are killing "everything" that sent many into stitches of laughter. Even during the hand-off between MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, the two cracked up over Trump suddenly becoming a huge wildlife advocate in his post-presidency years.

At the hand-off between MSNB hosts Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell, the ladder explained there was very serious breaking news: former President Donald Trump finally conceded the 2020 election to President Joe Biden.
While it's been eight months since the election, Trump has never been willing to admit that he lost. Wednesday night, however, June 16, 2021, Trump finally admitted it's over and that he wishes Joe Biden a successful presidency.
"And this is big," O'Donnell prefaced. "Donald Trump finally conceded tonight, he delivered the concession speech. He did. Yes. Not making this up. To Sean Hannity on that hour. Here's how it went. It's not the traditional form. First of all, Sean Hannity said to him, more than once, began questions with, 'if you were still president.' And Donald Trump did not correct him. Donald Trump went on and said words. I'm not going to say he answered the question, but he said words after the question mark. More than once: 'If you were still president.' And then towards the end of the discussion, Donald Trump actually said this about Joe Biden. 'I want him to do well.' Now that is — that's in every concession speech. 'I want him to do well.' I mean, that's it. That — there it is. The concession speech."
Another video of Trump shows him saying, "we didn't win but let's see what happens on that."
Among the other things Trump talked about, he sang the praises of the vaccine and of birds, which he said are being killed by windmills. Windmills, as you might recall, Trump said cause ear cancer.

Trump conceded? www.youtube.com
On CNN Wednesday, anchor Chris Cuomo tore into former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for suggesting that President Joe Biden is not tough enough on Vladimir Putin.
"Of course, Putin's work of weakening our country is being done for him, right? By the rabid right," said Cuomo. "Another sign of how pathetic our politics are, Trumpers who sat quiet while Trump tossed this country under the bus with Putin in Helsinki. He threw us under the bus. They said nothing. Now they say, Biden isn't being tough enough on Putin." He played a clip of Pompeo on Fox News.
"He is a trained propagandist, and you didn't have an American president standing up there and saying, wait a minute, that's not right," said Pompeo in the clip.
"Are you kidding me?" said Cuomo furiously. "I hope he runs for president. I really do. I hope he runs for president. I want to see somebody who will have an amazing pedigree, and Pompeo does. He does from West Point on, CIA, top diplomat. Are you kidding me? You want to be a leader and you're going to lie to Americans' faces like that? About how Biden didn't say anything strong enough? When you let Trump say that he believes Putin more than his own intel, and you said nothing. Come on. Come on!"
"When is it enough for you guys?" said Cuomo. "When are you going to say it's a game, we know it is BS, and we don't allow it in any other part of our life because this part matters."
