Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis was sent to jail Thursday for continuing to deny a court order that she issue marriage licenses to LGBT couples. Davis has maintained that doing so in light of the landmark Supreme Court ruling legalizing the unions in all 50 U.S. states would violate her Christian religion.
Twitter users were quick to hilariously lampoon Davis and the conservative Christians who cast her as a victim.
