Even though Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had to be nice to Donald Trump during his appearance on Wednesday's Daily Show, he couldn't resist letting one zinger fly during a high-stakes pool game with host Trevor Noah.
Instead of betting money, Noah explained that every time either he or Graham missed a shot, they would be forced to read a compliment off an index card taped to the table.
"Orange is a really difficult color to wear -- and he's really committed to it," Noah said at one point.
"My joke was that he makes [John] Boehner look like an albino," Graham quipped in response.
As the lawmaker showed off his skill, he explained, "The key to pool is the next shot -- not the shot you're about to make."
"Here's a question," Noah responded. "Imagine if you apply that technique to the war in the Middle East."
Graham, of course, sunk his next two shots.
Unfortunately for him, Noah was not as well-versed in the game.
"I'm from a third-world country. We don't even know what this is," the host said. "We don't have pools or tables."
