Trump urged Charlie Sheen not to marry woman who the actor later attacked with a knife

Along with Trump University, Trump Steaks and whatever else Trump wants to put his name on, it seems thrice-divorced Donald Trump also offers up marriage advice.

According to a 2011 Trump video that Mother Jones unearthed, Trump had a little pre-marital counseling session with Mar-a-Lago club member Moira Fiore, her daughter Brooke Mueller and Mueller's then-boyfriend, actor Charlie Sheen.

"The fact of the matter is, I know Charlie," Trump said in response to questions he was getting about whether Sheen should be fired from the Apprentice. "He married a person who is the daughter, you understand, of a member of mine down at the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach. I know the young lady, and because of that, she's got problems."

Trump revealed in the video that he urged Fiore not to let the marriage happen, an account Fiore backed up in a 2011 statement to the Palm Beach Post.

"The following morning, Donald told me how impressed he was with Brooke and how smart and beautiful she was," Fiore said. "He did tell me not to let her marry Charlie."

Sheen and Mueller got married in 2008 but were divorced just three years after. Just a year after they married, Mueller alleged Sheen put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

That didn't hurt Trump's feelings for Sheen. "He's wonderful, he gets great ratings," he told the conservative Human Events.

If anyone knows anything about what kills a marriage, it should be Donald Trump. After all, he has been married three times.
