Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday said Budapest supported the foreign policy plans of U.S. Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump over those of his rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton, mainly because of different views on migration.

Orban said Democrats supported migration and nation-building across the globe, while Hungary - like Trump - opposed both, "which makes it clear where Hungary's interests lay,' Orban told a press conference.

The remarks extended Orban's earlier, more limited expression of support for Trump's security policies.
