Kansas man opens fire after being asked to stop using racial slurs at IHOP
A Kansas man was shot at by another man who had been using racial slurs, according to local media reports.
The 31-year-old victim said the incident occurred at an IHOP restaurant around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. He had asked the suspect to stop using racial slurs. The victim said the suspect opened fire on his vehicle as he was driving away from the restaurant.
“One of the rounds struck the tailgate of his vehicle,” Wichita Police Sgt. Steve Yarberry said. The man was not injured.
