Director Rob Reiner used Donald Trump's controversial speech about Mexican rapists to blast the GOP nominee's Wednesday visit to Mexico.

When Trump announced his bid for presidency in 2015, he had accused Mexico of "not sending their best" to the United States.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best," Trump said. "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

After news broke on Tuesday that Trump was meeting with Mexico President Enrique Peña Nieto, Reiner turned those words back on the Republican candidate.

"Clearly we're not sending our best to Mexico," Reiner tweeted. "We're sending liars. We're sending narcissists. We're sending sociopaths."
