WATCH: Trump Tower climber fingered as supporter who released this bizarre video yesterday

Published

on

The man seen climbing Trump Tower in New York City on Wednesday may have posted his intentions online a day before, BoingBoing reported.

“I am an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter,” says the man posting the clip, who identifies himself as “Leven Thumps.” “I guarantee that it is in your interest to honor this request.”

As Reuters reported, the man used suction cups to make his way up the 58-story building for two hours before being pulled inside by police.

“The reason I climbed your tower was to get your attention,” he says in the video. “If I had sought this through conventional means, I would be much less likely to have success, because you are a busy man with many responsibilities. I’ll get my contact information to your campaign so that if you are interested, you can respond.”

The one-minute video concludes with “Thumps” saying, “Be sure to get out and vote for Mr. Trump in the 2016 election.”

Watch the video, as posted online, below.

As climate crisis-fueled fires rage, fears grow of an ‘uninhabitable’ California

Published

As activist Bill McKibben put it, "We've simply got to slow down the climate crisis."

With wildfires raging across California on Wednesday—and with portions of the state living under an unprecedented "Extreme Red Flag Warning" issued by the National Weather Service due to the severe conditions—some climate experts are openly wondering if this kind of harrowing "new normal" brought on by the climate crisis could make vast regions of the country entirely uninhabitable.

‘A profound emoluments clause violation’: Andrew Napolitano slams Trump’s hosting the G7 at Doral

Published

In the wake of acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney's announcement this Thursday that next year's G7 summit will be hosted at President Trump's Doral golf club, Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano pointed out that Trump would be violating the emoluments clause if he were to go through with the move.

At the outset of the segment, Fox Business Network anchor Neil Cavuto said that the announcement is "effectively saying the president has given himself this contract."
