Trump won't release his medical records -- instead he'll reveal his 'health regimen' to TV's Dr. Oz

Donald Trump said earlier this week that he would release his full medical records.

It turns out, however, that he's not going to do anything like that at all, as Politico reports that Trump is going to be appearing on Dr. Mehmet Oz's show next week to talk about his "health regimen."

Politico notes that a teaser for the interview says that Trump will address "why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign" and will talk about what he does to keep himself healthy. Ivanka Trump will also reportedly appear on the show to talk about her father's health.

So far the only document we've seen about Trump's health has been a note from Harold Bornstein, his personal doctor, that described his health as "astonishingly excellent" and proclaimed that "if elected, Mr. Trump… will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

Bornstein recently admitted that he wrote the letter in just five minutes, however, and it didn't include any specific information about Trump's medical condition.

Dr. Oz, of course, has proven himself controversial over the years, and has been ripped by both medical professionals and politicians for pushing "miracle" weight loss supplements.
