On Saturday, the Charlotte Police Department released body camera video from the shooting incident that killed Keith Lamont Scott.

Scott was gunned down by officers on Tuesday after a standoff. The 43-year-old's wife recorded the tense moments leading up to the shooting.

The Charlotte Observer reported that Chief of Police Kerr Putney said the body and dashboard camera footage does not show conclusively whether or not Scott was pointing a weapon at police.

Other evidence at the scene, Putney said, indicated that Scott was armed. He said that no charges will be brought against the officers who gunned Scott down.
