AGAIN? It looks like Melania Trump’s first speech since the RNC includes more ‘borrowed’ lines
Melania Trump delivered her first speech since the Republican National Convention on Thursday, speaking at a Trump campaign rally in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. But she might have lifted some lines of her speech from somewhere else.
Trump had some redeeming to do with her November 3 speech after she was caught plagiarizing the words of First Lady Michelle Obama during her RNC speech in July. Some of her words were almost exactly the same as Obama’s address Democratic National Convention speech in 2008.
Well, it just so happens that Trump might be at it again. During her Thursday speech, she appears to have taken a page from Donald’s ex-wife Marla Maples’ book.
Tablet Mag senior writer Yair Rosenberg pointed out on Twitter that a phrase from Trump’s speech actually came from Maples.
The line was, “If you could dream it, you could become it.”
So the important question then: Is Melania trolling the Trump campaign?
Melania just plagiarized Trump’s second wife Marla Maples. Here’s the only Google results for “if you could dream it, you could become it”: pic.twitter.com/ALeHuSZqEm
