'How do you have so little self-respect?': Corey Lewandowski gets blasted by student at open forum

Trump aide and former CNN commentator Corey Lewandowski got brutally called to task by a student at an open question-and-answer forum at the Oxford Union on Saturday.

Mediaite.com said that students laughed in Lewandowski's face when he asserted that Mexico will pay for a border wall as promised in the campaign speeches of President-elect Donald Trump.

"The Oxford Union is a debating society that is located in Oxford, England, and its membership is drawn largely from the student body of the University of Oxford," wrote Mediaite's Justin Baragona. "While Lewandowski was speaking at the Union, members of the University of Oxford Student Union organized a protest outside, stating 'fascists are not welcome here.'”

Lewandowski probably regretted opening the floor to questions when a woman student asked about Trump's prospective White House staff, including "Reince Priebus as chief of staff, the white nationalist Bannon of Breitbart News."

She went on, "So my question to you is: How do you have so little self-respect that you can stand here and defend a candidate who is not only a bigot but a liar who doesn't have the courtesy to follow through?"

The room erupted into applause.

"Here's what it comes down to," Lewandowski replied. "Mexico will pay for the wall and it's very simple."

The wave of laughter coming from the audience forced Lewandowski to pause before he said, "You can believe it, you can not believe it."
