Stephen Colbert didn't hold back on Thursday night's The Late Show, coming after Republican nominee Donald Trump. He started his segment off commenting on how there hasn't been much 'Donald Trump news,' and how that's actually huge Trump news.
"It really feels like Donald Trump is just laying low right now," Colbert says before replaying a clip of Trump speaking at a rally on Wednesday in Florida. The Republican nominee says to himself, "Stay on point, Donald."
Colbert commented on the fact that Trump is trying to make sure nothing goes wrong before the election. He shared a statement from a source close to the campaign who told NY Mag that Trump's election night party plans "will be relatively small... Trump is 'superstitious' and doesn't want to jinx things."
Colbert responds, "Yes, it's true, I know this. Donald Trump is very superstitious. In fact, a black cat is the only pussy he won't grab."
