One voter pulled a gun on another voter at a polling place in south Florida.
Sheriff’s deputies in Palm Beach County said the two men got into an argument Tuesday afternoon at a polling place in Lake Worth, reported WPTV-TV.
The argument escalated until one man displayed a firearm, authorities said.
Deputies at the polling station at the Royal Palm Presbyterian Church quickly defused the situation before either man was injured.
The precinct was briefly shut down after the incident but has since reopened.
A man wearing who appeared to be wearing a red “make American great again” was apparently taken into custody, according to photos taken by a witness.
The witness said the man in the red hat tried to encourage the other voter to cast a ballot for Donald Trump.
Deputies were also shown talking to a black man during the incident, but he did not appear to be taken into custody.
The incident remains under investigation.
