Van Jones considers Trump surrogate and frequent on-air sparring partner Jeffrey Lord a friend -- in spite of the fact that they disagree on everything.
"How can you not like Jeffrey? He's adorable. He's like a Fraggle," said Jones in a New York Times profile published Friday. “If a Fraggle had a tendency towards terrible revisionist history.”
When reached for comment, Lord said, “Which is exactly how I feel about him. I think Van’s a terrific person and a great friend. We just disagree on everything, and God bless America.”
Jones and Lord have been cable news staples in the 2016 election season, frequently exchanging heated comments, but apparently, always remaining friends.
