Robert Reich scorches Kellyanne Conway: Media will show respect for Trump when he shows respect for his job
Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich (MSNBC)

Former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich had harsh words for Kellyanne Conway, senior aide to Pres. Donald Trump, who recently said that the media isn't showing "respect for and recognition of the dignity for the office of the president.”

"No, Kellyanne, it’s Trump who lacks respect for and recognition of the dignity of the office of the president," wrote Reich in a scathing Facebook post published on Friday along with a link to an Orlando Sentinel article in which Conway bemoaned the media's lack of deference to her boss.

He then ran down a list of 12 of Pres. Trump's recent gaffes, screw-ups and unforced errors that, he said, result in the former reality TV star "further disgracing the office he holds."

Included on the list are Trump's threat to "destroy" the career of a Texas lawmaker, his attacks on war hero Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), his angry tweets attacking Nordstrom, Inc. and more.
