On a Tuesday night segment, host Anderson Cooper blasted White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer for skirting around a variety of questions in his latest briefing.
When asked whether he'd spoken with President Donald Trump about Russia's election interference, climate change and his claim that President Barack Obama wiretapped him, Spicer simply repeated that he had "not asked the president about that" -- an answer that inspired derision from Cooper.
“The answers say nothing,” Cooper said. “They also kind of speak volumes.”
Cooper asked correspondent Jeff Zeleny for his input, to which Zeleny replied that Spicer doesn't "want to contradict anything the president has said."
“I think logical but also legal," Zeleny said.
