An IT aide for Debbie Wasserman Schultz was arrested Tuesday as he tried to leave the United States, Fox News reports.

Imran Awan was arrested at Dulles International Airport on bank fraud charges. He was fired by a group of House Democrats in March over his alleged participation in a criminal scheme, though he remained on Wasserman Schultz’s payroll until Tuesday.
