CNN's Jake Tapper read aloud some of the email exchange between Donald Trump Jr. and music publicist Rob Goldstone.
"If it's what you say, I love it," Trump Jr. wrote in the email and Tapper looked up, shocked as he read.
"On its face, this e-mail chain is proof of a willingness expressed by Donald Trump Jr. to collude with Russia to get information directly from the Russian government through the campaign," Tapper said. "I don't see any other way to read these e-mails."
Tapper ultimately admitted that if someone had told him a week ago that this happened and that these emails existed he would have said: "you're crazy."
