Incoming White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci gave a long, rambling interview with CNN on Thursday morning -- and members of the Trump White House are already trashing him behind his back.

Per MediaiteBloomberg reporter Josh Green appeared on CNN shortly after Scaramucci's interview and he said he had been in contact with White House advisers throughout it to get a sense of what they thought of it.

"I was texting and e-mailing with White House officials saying what does it look like on the inside," Green said. "One adviser messaged back to me saying ‘this is a car crash.'"

Green also said that the kinds of antics that Scaramucci engaged in -- which included comparing his relationship with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus to the murderous Biblical relationship between Cain and Abel -- would do little to achieve the White House's goal of stopping leaks coming from within the administration.

"The idea that stunts like this are going to lock down the leaks, shut them off, I think is probably wrong," Green said.
