Defense Secretary Jim Mattis freezes Trump’s anti-transgender troop directive: report
On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis suspended President Donald Trump’s order banning transgender people from serving in the military, USA Today reports.
Mattis’ announcement said that the department is conducting a study to assess the financial impact transgender service members have on the military.
