Soldiers reassigned after bringing women to Panama hotel during Mike Pence detail
The U.S. Army detail assigned to Vice President Mike Pence’s communications team was caught on video bringing women back to their hotel in Panama, according to NBC News.
A trio of US defense officials confirmed the members of the detail have been removed from their White House duties.
Officials said they have not determined yet if the females in question were prostitutes.
A red flag was raised when the soldiers didn’t register the women who they brought back with them, the officials said.
According to a White House official, Pence had not left the U.S. when the incident had occurred. Pence’s staff was alerted to the issue after the soldiers were spotted with the women on security camera video.
