On Wednesday, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appeared on ABC's "The View" to discuss her new book and the 2016 election.
FoxNews.com entertainment writer Sasha Savitsky attacked the panelists of "The View" alleging that they are hypocrites for not putting Clinton on the spot for staying in her marriage when the co-hosts have been free to point out some of the bizarre interactions caught on camera between President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
On Thursday, "The View" hit back, pointing to the fact that they did ask Clinton about her marriage and the former first lady gave a candid answer.
"Their website says that we are hypocrites for always commenting on the current first couple's marriage, but not the Clintons'," said Whoopi Goldberg. "Clearly, as usual, they didn't see the interview or they would have seen this."
She then played the clip of co-host Sunny Hostin asking Clinton about why she stayed in her marriage after learning that her husband was unfaithful.
Host Jedediah Bila was particularly annoyed in that Fox was her previous employer. Not only did they get the facts wrong, the article misspelled her name.
"Come on, guys," Bila said. "You're going to have to do better than this."
