Twitter users this week lashed out at former Trump aide Jason Miller after he tried to lecture NFL players about protesting racism.
During a Tuesday panel segment on CNN, host Kate Bolduan noted that President Donald Trump was reportedly pleased that people were discussing his attack on NFL players who kneel during the national anthem.
"The whole reason why this is happening is there's this frustration and this anger by these players that are going on the field and disrespecting our national anthem," Miller opined. "And so when President Trump is voicing his opinion on this, he's speaking for millions of people around the country who see that activity and say, 'You know what? You have your right to do it disrespecting our flag and disrespecting our national anthem."
Former DNC Chairman A. Scott Bolden pointed out that the players are not protesting the flag.
"They are protesting the racial divide," he said. "Why isn't Donald Trump attacking the underlying reason for the protests themselves? Rosa Parks wasn't protesting the bus, she was protesting racial injustice."
Miller said that he disagreed with Scott's "logic."
"I don't see how protesting social injustice by disrespecting the national anthem and the flag is going to bring about social change," he insisted.
User's on Twitter, however, blasted Miller for his lecture on how African-Americans should protest racial injustice.
Miller, who is married, was forced out of the Trump administration earlier year this after he confirmed that he got another woman pregnant while working for the Trump campaign in 2016.
