On Wednesday, President Donald Trump delivered a "beautifully crafted, scripted speech" to Las Vegas in the wake of the city's attacks. As one prominent never-Trump Republican pointed out on MSNBC, however, this presidential photo op may not last that long.
"He was scripted today, unscripted yesterday," former conservative talk radio host Charlie Sykes said, comparing Trump's Vegas speech with his controversial address to Puerto Rico the day prior. "Which was real, which is not?"
"Yes, you had the president going into his mode as healer-in-chief," the never-Trumper continued. "But give it a minute. Give it a day. We’ve seen this president before."
