A North Carolina man's racist rant was caught on camera after he allegedly tried to side-swipe a black woman whom he believed had cut him off.
Local news station WCNC reports that Charlotte resident Tiffany Sterling got into a confrontation with a driver whom she says aggressively tried to drive his vehicle into her car.
"He crossed over two lanes and almost hit me so I just honked my horn and he just went crazy," Sterling told WCNC. "I was like, 'Is this man trying to kill me right now? What is going on?' I was just shaking out of shock and disbelief and confusion."
When the two of them found themselves stopped side-by-side at a red light, Sterling took out her phone and started taking video of the man, who had opened up his car door and started yelling racial slurs at her. When the man saw her using her phone to take video, he grew even more enraged.
"Take my picture, b*tch, I don't care!" he yelled. "I had the green light... little n*gger c*nt."
Local police said that, while Sterling was not at fault for the road rage incident, she nevertheless should have tried to avoid antagonizing the driver further.
"I could’ve not entertained it at all," Sterling admitted. "I could not have even listened to what he had to say. It could’ve turned into an unsafe situation looking back, for sure."
