Did GOP 'dirty tricks' operative Roger Stone know Al Franken story was coming?

Roger Stone -- longtime confidant to President Donald Trump and GOP "dirty tricks" operative -- appears to have had foreknowledge of the accusations against Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) by Los Angeles radio personality Leeann Tweeden.

The Hill reported Thursday afternoon that at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, a Twitter account associated with Stone tweeted that Franken's "time in the barrel" is on the way.

Stone has been banned from Twitter for life, but presumably has connections with the "Stone Zone" Twitter account.

Franken was accused of forcibly kissing Tweeden and groping her breasts during a USO trip in 2006. He has issued two apologies and volunteered to cooperate with an investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee.
