Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) appeared on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” on Monday to discuss Donald Trump’s presidency, and his repeated reference to her as “Pocahontas,” arguing the president is not going to “shut [her] up” with his racist attacks.
Trump earlier this month mentioned Warren in a tweet assailing Hillary Clinton for “rigging” the Democratic primaries. ”Pocahontas just stated that the Democrats, lead by the legendary Crooked Hillary Clinton, rigged the Primaries!” Trump tweeted. “Lets go FBI & Justice Dept.”

Colbert joked that Trump and Warren finally agree on something, before reading the president’s tweet out loud.
"Donald Trump thinks if he's gonna start every one of these tweets to me with some kind of racist slur here, that he's gonna shut me up,” Warren replied.
"It didn’t work in the past, it's not gonna work in the future,” she added.
