Saturday Night Live's Kate McKinnon reprised her creepy impersonation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Weekend Update Saturday night, leading the audience in a "I do not recall" call and response.

The jab at Sessions was in reference to his much derided inability to remember any details about meeting with Russian contacts while working with President Donald Trump's transition team.

“When I say ‘I do not,’ you say ‘recall,’” McKinnon's Sessions said. “I do not...”

“Recall,” the audience yelled back.

Update co-anchor Colin Jost then pressed Sessions, saying he had overused the answer repeatedly during his Senate hearing.

“Well Colin, you know I had some memory problems stemming from a childhood trauma, you know -- the passing of the Civil Rights Act,” McKinnon's Sessions replied.

Asked about any recent contacts with Trump aides about the ongoing Russian investigation, McKinnon's Sessions stated, "I do not recall," before confiding to the audience: "You know I recall."
