Former Vice President Joe Biden called President Donald Trump's attack on Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand nothing short of "disgusting."

During an appearance on "The View," Biden noted, "the idea that the president is so tone deaf that that phrase sounds relative to a woman -- it's disgusting."

Co-host Joy Behar read aloud the USA Today editorial that criticized Trump as someone not fit to clean the toilets in the Barack Obama Presidential Library or polish the shoes of George W. Bush.

"I've never ever in my career read an editorial like that," Biden confessed.

Republicans have refused to comment on Trump's Twitter attack. However, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders swore there was "no way" what Trump tweeted was sexist.

He was also quick to celebrate the victory of Doug Jones over Roy Moore in Alabama Tuesday night. When co-host Meghan McCain said "Steve Bannon went down last night," all Biden could say was, "thank God."

He celebrated the way that Jones fought on issues that matter to the middle class.

When speaking about the cancer battle that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) faces, his daughter Meghan began to cry. Biden walked over to hold her hand and tell her of the vast strides scientists are making to fight the cancer that also took his son's life.
