CNN panel: Joe Biden could totally take Trump in a fight - president's not in good shape 'at all'

Joe Biden joked about being in good enough shape to take on former Democratic Party chair Howard Dean "physically," but the comment sparked a fantasy fight between President Donald Trump and the former vice president on a CNN panel.

"I think Joe Biden can take Howard Dean," said Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen.

Biden was a renowned sports-star in his youth. As a high school student he excelled at being a halfback/wide receiver and lead his team to an undefeated season his last year. He was also on his school's basketball team. Trump, by contrast, believes that your body has a finite amount of energy given at birth and excecise and physical activity lessens your lifespan. He also is an avid consumer of fast food because he believes it's somehow "cleaner."

CNN host Jake Tapper wondered then if Biden could "take" Donald Trump.

"Oh, no question about it," Rosen said. "Because Donald Trump does not seem to me like he's in good shape at all."

Tapper laughed because he seemed to be talking about a political match-up, not an actual fight after school.

"I didn't mean that. I meant in like an election," Tapper said. "I meant in an election."

Rosen laughed along with the rest of the panel but said "absolutely" Biden could beat Trump in an election.
