North Korea will send athletes to the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang next month, CNN and Bloomberg report.


According to South Korea’s Unification Ministry, the rogue nation has agreed to send representatives to the international sporting event. In a statement, South Korean Vice Minister Chun Hae-sung said North Korea “will send a high-level delegation, athletes representing the People’s Olympic Committee, a cheering squad and an art troupe, a visitor’s group, a Taekwondo demonstration team and a press corp.”
