Fox Business personality Lou Dobbs hosted Republican congressman from Florida Matt Gaetz, one of the leaders of the conspiracy theory memo by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA).

“Our first guest tonight says FBI officials have exhibited elements of a palace coup meant to disrupt the president, both before and after his election,” Dobbs noted.

“I believe there has been a criminal conspiracy under way to discredit and undermine the duly elected president of the United States,” Congressman Gaetz charged.

“You had a cabal of people who believed it was their job to deprive the American people of the president they elected,” he continued.

“Fundamentally, we’ve got to do something about the culture that has grown up at Justice and at the FBI,” Dobbs claimed.

The Department of Justice says releasing the memo would be “extraordinarily reckless.”

“I think it’s going to happen in the next two weeks and it might happen next week,” Rep. Gaetz said of releasing the memo.
