Seventh grader shoots self at Ohio middle school

A seventh-grade student reportedly shot himself at a school in Massillon, Ohio on Tuesday.

WKYC reported that the self-inflicted shooting happened around 7:15 a.m. at Jackson Middle School.

The school was placed on lockdown but Jackson Township police said that all other students and staff were safe.

It was not immediately clear if the shooting happened inside the school.
