A road rage incident was caught on video when a 43-year-old man allegedly attacked an 18-year-old driver.

The Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday that older man Randu Salgado is accused of breaking the side-view mirror of the younger man's car while in traffic. Salgado then followed the young man to a parking lot where he allegedly assaulted the teen.

Court records reveal Salgado now faces two misdemeanor charges: assault causing bodily injury and criminal mischief. He has posted $6,000 bond.

The two were driving on the Katy Freeway when traffic piled up. The teen told police that Salgado seemed to become "enraged" when he couldn't use the shoulder lane to pass the slow traffic.

Salgado then started "tailgating" the teen, who turned on his cell phone camera to record what was happening. He can be seen in the video pulling next to the teen and throwing an object at the passenger mirror. It shattered the glass into the car.

Both drivers exited the freeway and that's when Salgado followed the young man to a parking lot where he allegedly punched the teen and drove off.
