In video uploaded to Facebook by American Bridge, four GOP lawmakers who have taken large contributions from the NRA are seeing fleeing questions about doing more to halt gun violence in the US than offer 'thoughts and prayers."

The video features Representatives Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Ron DeSantis (R-FL), Patrick McHenry (R-NC) and outgoing Rep. Darryl Issa (R-CA) frantically attempting to escape the questions, refusing to even stop to issue a statement.

During the DeSantis segment, the lawmaker who is considering running to be Florida's next governor ducks questions about the horrific shooting in his home state on Wednesday, refuses to answer when it is pointed out that he is only "praying for kids and paying for their funerals," in lieu of proposing any laws that could protect kids.
