After giving interviews to both the Washington Post and MSNBC about being subpoenaed by special counsel Robert Mueller, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg took to CNN with another shocking admission.

When asked by host Gloria Borger if Mueller's investigation was focused on Trump's finances, Nunberg volunteered that his former boss may have indeed colluded with the Kremlin.

"You know what? Trump may have very well done something during the election with the Russians," the president's former campaign aide said. "If he did that, you know what, it's inexcusable."

He then brought up the president's failed attempt to open a Trump Tower Moscow development prior to announcing his presidential run.

In the hour before speaking with CNN, Nunberg also admitted to MSNBC's Katy Tur that he thinks Mueller "has something" on Trump.
