In an emotional exchange, the brother of slain Sacramento man Stephon Clark interrupted a city council meeting in protest, eventually leading the crowd in a chant of his brother's name.
During the meeting, which was convened to discuss the city's response to the shooting, Stevante Clark led protesters in a chant of his brother's name, and was reportedly given the microphone by the mayor.
Clark was heard by New York Times' Los Angeles correspondent Jose A. Del Real telling the crowd "they don't care about you."
After Clark's interruption, Real noted that protesters gathered by the hundreds inside the city hall foyer.
