CNN confirms Kelly called Trump ‘unhinged’ during meeting with national security advisers

White House Chief of Staff,  John Kelly, made sweeping headlines Monday morning for calling the president an “idiot.”

It is predicted that Kelly will step down from the revolving door of the White House this summer.

New reports show that Kelly not only called President Trump an”idiot,” but that he also called him “unhinged.”

According to CNN’s White House reporter Jeremy Diamond, Kelly told senior national security officials that trump was mentally unbalanced.

Diamond said that no one in the room was “shocked’ at the remarks made about President Trump.

Sekulow cons Senate: John Bolton’s ‘unsourced’ firsthand account of Ukraine scandal is ‘inadmissible’

An attorney for President Donald Trump argued on Tuesday that an unpublished portion of former National Security Adviser John Bolton's new book can not be considered in the president's impeachment trial.

“You cannot impeach a president on an unsourced allegation,” attorney Jay Sekulow told senators, referring to published accounts of Bolton's book.

"I don't know what you'd call that. I'd call it inadmissible, but that's what it is," he added.

Bolton's book reportedly makes the case that Trump sought a quid pro quo from Ukraine in order to get help with the 2020 U.S. election.

Former Rep. Tom Railsback (R-IL) was the House member who brought together Republicans and Democrats for the "fragile bipartisan coalition" who intended to impeach former President Richard Nixon.

Just eight days ago, Railsback passed away, and while his daughter Kathryn works through her grief, she authored an editorial in the Washington Post calling on Republicans to listen to their better angels.

"As a young Republican representative from Illinois, Dad took his responsibilities as a legislator and a lawyer seriously. He believed in fairness and in upholding the rule of law," she remembered.

John Bolton told GOP donors that Trump is ‘mentally unstable’: report

A new report from Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman sheds some more light on former national security adviser John Bolton's decision to blow up President Donald Trump's top defense against impeachment.

According to Sherman's sources, Bolton has told Republican donors that he believes Trump is "mentally unstable" and worries that the president could pull the United States completely out of NATO if he wins a second term.
