MSNBC legal analyst Lisa Green said that it appears Donald Trump confidante Michael Cohen was running a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) mill.
"Donald Trump's long-time personal lawyer Michael Cohen was spotted today enjoying the fine weather in New York City with friends and a cigar, on the same day federal prosecutors disclosed he's been the subject of a month's long criminal investigations," anchor Chris Hayes noted.
He suggested it seemed Cohen had a "template" for NDAs and didn't even bother to change the fake names.
"It's like a multiple choice test for fourth graders, do you remembers those tests?" Green asked. "That's about the level."
"We heard today that federal prosecutors said that Michael Cohen apparently could doesn't do that much lawyering," she continued. "Which begs the question, what does he do all day?"
"And new reporting seems to provide an answer, an NDA mill," Green concluded.
"It's a shrinking world of participants in what seems like an NDA industrial complex," she noted. "How many more of these agreements can we expect to see?"
"And an NDA industrial complex that federal prosecutors are looking at now, Hayes noted.
