Trump freaks out on NBC’s Chuck Todd for exposing him as a lousy negotiator

Published

on

President Donald Trump kicked off Sunday morning with a pair of tweets, including one attacking NBC News’ “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd. The president’s tweet exposes once again the fact that he has over-sold his negotiating skills.

Trump positioned himself as the “Art of the Deal” author who is a great businessman and great negotiator. All of that has been proven false, with his stunning inability to pass almost all of the key legislation he wanted.

On Sunday, he revealed just how incompetent he is.

“Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd of Fake News NBC just stated that we have given up so much in our negotiations with North Korea, and they have given up nothing,” Trump tweeted. “Wow, we haven’t given up anything & they have agreed to denuclearization (so great for World), site closure, & no more testing!”

Here’s the clip of Chuck Todd Trump refers to:

It’s disturbing Trump does not realize all he’s given up to the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

First, he’s given Kim what he craves the most: legitimacy. Trump has done this by agreeing to meet he with no planning, negotiating, or pre-conditions.

Second, he has given Kim the attention he craves, by repeatedly attacking him as “Little Rocket Man” and repeatedly threatening him. Those threats are exactly what Kim needed politically to legitimize the “need” for his nuclear program.

Third, Trump has become Kim’s mouthpiece, literally quoting him in a tweet Friday night verbatim, without questioning the veracity of his statements. By doing so, Trump again legitimized a brutal dictator, and shown he will believe anything Kim says.

As Chuck Todd notes, North Korea is holding three U.S. citizens captive, and Trump has not used their release as a condition for talks. And Kim has not pledged to totally denuclearize his country.

Kim announced he would stop nuclear testing because the testing phase is concluded – not as a gift to Trump, who does not understand the difference. And experts say Kim’s announcement he will no longer use the testing site could be because it’s no longer useable.

Trump has given up many bargaining chips weeks ahead of his meeting with the North Korean dictator. And what’s worse is he doesn’t even realize it.

C-SPAN caller scorched by Muslim comedian for ignoring Jesus after she rants ‘gays are abomination to God’

Published

Comedian Dean Obeidallah, who is Muslim, told a C-SPAN caller that Republicans are not following the teachings of Jesus Christ even though they may oppose abortion and other policies advocated by evangelicals.

"I am independent," Pam, who called from Arkansas, told Obeidallah. "I vote according to my conscience of who would Jesus vote for if he were here on Earth. And he would not vote a group of people who believe in murdering children in the womb, on gays, which is an abomination to God, on false gods from other countries."

Obeidallah replied with a lesson on the Christian savior.

Conservative drops mic on complicit press trying to maintain access to Trump: ‘He’s a raving lunatic … tell it like it is’

Appearing on MSNBC's "AM Joy" conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin excoriated members of the press who -- in the pursuit of appearing "objective" -- refuse to "tell it like it is" when reporting on President Donald Trump.

Speaking with host Joy Reid, Rubin -- one of the president's more avid critics -- got right to the point.

"I think there are two things, "Rubin began. "One, I think that this notion of objectivity of balance has been so inculcated into the media that they now don't call it like they see it at all because they are walking on eggshells."

"When the president had that out of control press conference if you could call it that, when he was rambling on and on, they were so restrained, they described it as a celebration," she continued. "No, he was a raving lunatic. You need to use the words, the verbs and correct description so you give the public a feel of how dangerous this guy is. That is not being biased -- that is being accurate and revealing the danger this guy poses."

Trump belatedly snarls at media for reporting a portion of his wall fell over — two weeks after it happened

Published

on

On what must be a slow news day for President Donald Trump, he took to Twitter on Sunday morning to attack the press for reporting that a portion of his wall on the southern border toppled over two weeks ago -- and then blamed the collapse on "soaking wet" concrete and high winds.

Falling back on his stand-by "Fake News," the president tweeted: "Last week the Fake News said that a section of our powerful, under construction, Southern Border Wall 'fell over', trying to make it sound terrible, except the reason was that the concrete foundation was just poured & soaking wet when big winds kicked in. Quickly fixed 'forever'."
