Fox News named Suzanne Scott its new CEO on Thursday — but a lawsuit reveals she’ll bring baggage from the company’s sexual harassment scandals to the position.
The Daily Beast reported that Scott was named in multiple lawsuits against the network and its former head, Roger Ailes, as an enabler of the ex-CEO’s culture of harassment and retaliation for speaking out.
A lawsuit filed by Julie Roginsky, another former Fox News personality, claimed Scott lead a “pro-Ailes propaganda effort” staffers nicknamed “Team Roger.”
Previously reporting by The Daily Beast also revealed that in her role as president of programming, multiple staffers accused Scott of enforcing “with the wardrobe and makeup departments an aesthetic that features skimpy dresses, high-heeled open-toed shoes, and big hair for the channel’s on-air women.”
Scott has denied all the allegations about enforcing wardrobe and makeup.
